We hold two levels of regular auctions - quarterly Specialist auctions, and more regular 'Interiors' sales.  

Specialist auctions (held quarterly)

Our flagship Specialist sales are held seasonally in March, June, September, and late November/early December, with entries closing around four weeks prior - to ensure plenty of marketing and advertising time. Average lot value of around £400-600 per lot,with estimates ranging from around £100 to over £5,000. Marketed nationally through extensive trade advertising (at no extra cost), plus locally and of course online, this sale usually attracts at least 1,000 registered bidders from the UK and overseas. We regularly sell via our two online bidding platforms to China and other Far East countries, Australia and New Zealand, The US and Canada, as well as much of Contenental Europe. Selling rates are generally 85-90%, well above the national average due to the high percentage of privately consigned items, sourced from local estates, house clearances, Probates through our network of partner solicitors, and returning customers who respect our good reputation. 

Interiors auctions (held three weekly)

One of the most consistent general Antiques & Interiors auctions in the South West, with a large and loyal following of buyers and sellers from Bristol, Bath, Wells, Weston-super-Mare, Gloucestershire, South Wales and beyond. Average lot value of around £100 per lot (very high indeed for a secondary sale), with estimates ranging typically from £30 to £300, plus even more for gold jewellery. Selling rates normally in excess of 90%, again almost unheard of for auction, due to the privately sourced, sensibly estimated, fresh-to-the-market items on offer.

Very few auction houses nationwide can offer this type of regular sale, due to the winning combination of location, facilities, staff expertise and quality clientele. Very few salerooms are as busy, both on valuation and sale days. All this means that, whether you are buying or selling, this is the place to come.

Clevedon Salerooms typically offer 500-800 lots per Interiors sale, including Jewellery, Watches, Silver, Collectors' Items, Paintings, as well Antique & Later Furnishings, virtually all sourced from good private houses and through house clearances.
