From Auction House to Concert Hall

Clevedon Salerooms, one of the South West's longest-established fine art auction houses, is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with the renowned St George’s Bristol.

As part of a year-long calendar of events, the partnership includes becoming the new sponsor of their popular Lunchtime Concert series. Launched yesterday with a special reception at St George's, guests were treated to a captivating performance by celebrated percussionist and multi-instrumentalist James Larter.

Mark Huddleston, Director at Clevedon Salerooms says: “St George’s has strong ties to the Bristol community and our new partnership represents our first venture into directly supporting the city's diverse music scene. While our expertise lies in antiques and fine art, the opportunity to blend art and world-class music is exciting and we're very much looking forward to a year of collaboration.”

Samir Savant, Chief Executive of St George’s Bristol said: “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Clevedon Salerooms, and we look forward to welcoming their clients and team to a range of events at St George’s over the next 12 months. Partnerships such as this one are incredibly important to us; as a charity, we rely on the funding, but we also know that by working together we can do more to support talented young musicians such as those we promote through our lunchtime concert series, whilst encouraging audiences from across Bristol and beyond to enjoy extraordinary cultural experiences.”
