Royal Interest - 1966 Christmas card with twin gilt Royal cyphers to cover, colour photographic print of the Royal Family on a horse and carriage, signed (autopen) ‘Elizabeth R. 1966 Philip', with envelope
From the estate of Miss Peggy Gladys Hoath, formally Assistant Dresser to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Hoath joined the royal household in 1959 and was one of the few surviving staff to have worked with the young Queen, remaining at her side for 35 years.
Awarded the Medal of the Royal Victorian Order in silver (RVM) in the 1985 New Year Honours List.
Hoath passed away in December 2018.
