Anton Chotka cold-painted bronze night light
Anton Chotka (Austrian, 1881-1955), cold painted bronze 'Bedouin tent' lamp, Vienna, early 20th Century, modelled with two men, one inside seated smoking his pipe, the other standing in the doorway with a rifle, raised on a naturalistic base supporting a palm tree, with cast signature ‘CHOTKA’ and impressed ‘AUSTRIA’, 38cm high.
Anton Chotka was a workmaster for Franz Bergman.
