Ethnographica - Pair of tall African carved 'stick' figures, Nyamwezi, Tanzania, a man and woman, each of typical elongated slender form with ovoid heads inset with small shell or white glass eyes, stylised hands to waist, on straight legs, one joined at the foot, 148cm high and smaller, (2)

These stick figures were reputedly used in water divination and other ceremonies.
