Double-barreled four bore percussion bank gun of large proportions and weight, 53" barrels signed 'Westley Richards, 150 New Bond St., London' on the top rib, blued tang with floral engraving, border engraved locks signed 'Westley Richards" and floral engraved hammers, blued trigger guard with a pineapple finial, blued butt plate. The gun is half-stocked in figured walnut with chequered engraving around the wrist. In front of the trigger guard is a contoured ebony 'handle'. It has its original ebony ram-rod with brass end and worm, 179cm long (overall) (barrels refinished)
