16 bore English full stocked flintlock officers pistol circa 1790 by Tayler & Mander, sighted 18cm octagonal barrel with ordnance proof and view marks, the engraved tang incorporating notch rear sight, the lock has a half-cock safety which is broken, the walnut stock is plain with a blank escutcheon, the trigger guard with pineapple finial is metal as are the other mounts, with iron ramrod, 32cm overall
