Framed set of six (all Section 8th): No. 11 A Tow Boat; A Budgerow; No. 7 A Jellee-A Dingee; No. 13 A Gudwaree; No. 2 A Feal Chara; A Gunga
Framed set of four: Section 8th No. 1 A Pinnace; Section 9th No. 5 A Pettooa; No. 11 A Bangles; No. 3 A Sloop
Unframed mounted set of nine (all Section 9th, some a/f): No. 9 An Aga Cha; No. 15 A Pulwar; No. 12 A Wolack; No. 17 A Iet Dingee; No. 6 A Burr; No. 14 A Balaum; No. 8 A Kautry; No. 7(?) A Pataily; and No. 10 A Siringee,

Each image size 24.5cm x 36.5cm, the first two sets framed and glazed, (19)

The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, holds an unillustrated inventory (PAI2514) of thirty-two illustrations by Solvyns which appear to include the nineteen in the current offering.

Auction: Winter Specialist Sale, 7th Dec, 2023

Our Winter Specialist Sale of Fine Furniture, Modern Design, Paintings, Prints, Silver, Jewellery, Watches, Ceramics, Glassware, Collector Items, Wines, and Spirits.

The auction includes the principal contents of Gatcombe Court, Somerset. Highlights include a 17th-century embroidered stumpwork panel, Fortunino Matania oil on canvas – The Last General Absolution of the Munsters at Rue du Bois, and an 1880 painted wooden rocking horse attributed to F. H. Ayres.
 
We will also be offering selected furniture and paintings previously at Sutton House, Clifton. Included are works by Alfred de Breanski, Sidney Richard Percy, and Alfred Pollentine, together with fine 19th century furniture.
