Late 16th Century front and back plate, possibly Italian, the breastplate of late peasecod form with prominent medial ridge, roped neck and arm borders on both plates and narrow flanges, the breastplate is engraved with patterns and two profile heads in scrolls, the rear plate has two scrolls embossed at the top, breastplate 29cm high and the backplate 35cm high
