Chris joined us in 2021 with an extensive background in antiques and fine art. He is well known to many from his appearances on BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, and as the former Curator of the Ken Stradling Collection of 20th Century design in Bristol. Having studied Fine Art Valuation at Southampton Institute, he then worked at Dreweatts in Bristol and Newbury.
Chris deals with a broad spectrum of valuation enquiries, specialising in ceramics, modern design, and furniture. He regularly catalogues for our three-weekly general sales and Quarterly Specialist Sales.
You'll see Chris on our Monday valution days at the saleroom, on our Bristol valuation days at Stoke Lodge, or on home-visits for valuation and probate all around the South-West.
Chris also coordinates and arranges our advertising content online and in print, liaising with those at Country Life, Bristol Magazine, and more.
