Farewell to Caroline Coles
After 42 years we say 'goodbye' to Caroline and 'hello' to Kate
The end of 2022 marked the retirement of Caroline Coles, well-known to many as one of the longest serving members of the Clevedon Salerooms team.
Caroline began her career with the firm in the 1980s, and has witnessed many changes from the days of Hoddell Pritchard through the Herbert Road era and the move to our current site, the former Cam Gears Social Club, in 2003.
Caroline has been one of the lynchpins of the firm for many years, and her immense knowledge of the business and its customers is unrivalled. In her richly-deserved retirement she will no doubt enjoy spending more quality time with her family, including her adoring grandchildren. Clevedon Salerooms wish to thank her publicly for her loyalty and service.
Our newest colleague, Kate Martin, has been understudy to Caroline for the past few months, and we are delighted to welcome her into the role of Office Manager (Accounts). Kate has lived in Clevedon since the 1990s, so we are sure that she will recognise more than a few familiar faces on our viewing and sale days – do say ‘Hello’ and make her feel welcome!
